I was raised by
wolves in the wilds of
Alaska
and was found trying to chew my leg off to escape from a
trap. I was sold to an Air Force chaplain and his
family near
Fairbanks
for a beat up '61 Dodge. Well, at least that's
how I felt growing up -- always on the periphery and not
quite fitting in. My family did love me (and I them),
but I'm pretty sure that they wondered if I was raised by
wolves too ... or from another planet altogether.
The rest is
your typical, run-in-the-mill stuff ... joined the Air Force
as a graphics guy, worked as a free-lance artist ever since
I got out (with a myriad of jobs to make ends pretend to see
each other), graduated with a BFA from Central Michigan
University in '05, and recently moved
to the Spokane
area.
I am
continually touched and excited by the world around me ...
how it all works, how it reflects the Creator, and how it
all relates back to me and my life experiences. I try
to find a sort of spirituality in everything and I see the
hand of the divine all around me. In my own way, I try
to reflect those kinds of feelings through my work. It
may sound trite and corny, but, well, there it is.
